Information for Nursing Graduates
- Rehearsal for the nurse pinning ceremony will take place on Friday, May 10 in Sibert Theatre prior to the ceremony. Nursing graduates will gather in Woodcock Art Gallery and will line up alphabetically. The rehearsal will last approximately one hour.
- A photographer will be stationed in Woodcock Art Gallery prior to the ceremony for professional headshots. Nursing graduates are welcome to schedule and pay for their headshots to be taken at this time. Please contact Danielle Heneisen at danielle.heneisen@ic.edu for more information.
- Please dress business casual for the event.
- Nursing graduates and their families are welcome to attend the reception in Parker Science Building following the ceremony for refreshments.
Disability Services
- Special seating areas are provided for hearing impaired individuals and those in wheelchairs. For the hearing impaired, the ceremony will be signed. For individuals needing handicapped accessibility, please note the following drop-off locations:
- McGaw Fine Arts Center: unload at the main entrance located on the west side of the building.
- Accessible restrooms are located in the McGaw lobby, as well as Kirby Learning Center, Baxter Hall, Parker Science Building, Whipple Hall, Caine Student Center and Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center.
