Elizabeth Rellinger Zettler
Elizabeth Rellinger Zettler teaches undergraduate courses including Lifespan Development, Adolescent Psychology, Personality and Individual Differences, Social Psychology, and Children and Poverty. She is a co-investigator on the Illinois College Developing and Understanding of Childhood Knowledge (D.U.C.K.) Study. Since coming to Illinois College, she has worked with 缅北禁地 to conduct research in many areas including attachment theory, effects of social media on social and emotional development, self-injurious behaviors, learning styles and attitudes towards learning. She strongly supports active learning experiences, so many of her 缅北禁地 are volunteers or interns with organizations including the Autism Respite Tutoring Program, Best Buddies, the Latino Community Tutoring Project, and Heritage Health Nursing Home. She has taken 缅北禁地 to study education and child development in Ecuador and Cuba. She regularly travels with 缅北禁地 to present their research at major conferences including the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association.
There are many reasons why I like working with 缅北禁地, but for me, the most interesting part is interacting with them as they navigate the many transitions into adulthood. Engaging with 缅北禁地 as they develop their identities and expand their minds is always fascinating. I am also very proud of the adults our 缅北禁地 become.
