Fine Arts Series welcomes back piano duo

The Khasma Piano Duo returns to Illinois College for a Fine Arts Series performance Sunday, Feb. 9, at 3 p.m. at Rammelkamp Chapel.

Pianists Ashlee Mack and Katherine Palumbo have premiered piano duets by notable living composers Matthew Heap, Robert Morris, Lawrence Moss, James Romig and David Vayo. The duo has toured across the U.S. for concert performances and released two albums in 2019. Returning to the Illinois College Fine Arts Series, they will perform the music of three major, pioneering 20th-century composers: Pierre Boulez, Claude Debussy and Olivier Messiaen.

Individual tickets for the Illinois College Fine Arts Series are $15 each and season tickets are available for $70 each. Students of all ages receive free admission. Tickets are available for purchase in advance by phone at 217.245.3260 or at the door.
