Move-in day will be on Thursday for IC 缅北禁地.
At IC, check-in will start at 9 a.m. at Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center. Students will meet their Welcome Weeks Connections Groups at 5 p.m. and the hypnotist Nadeen Manuel will perform at 8:15 p.m. Students will have required sessions on Friday and Saturday as well as attend their first freshman seminar on Friday. Sunday will have the 26th annual Service Blitz from 1:30 to 5 p.m. where new IC 缅北禁地 will spend the afternoon doing community service work with a variety of community partners. IC will have its opening ceremony on Monday at 4 p.m. in Rammelkamp Chapel, and the first day of classes will be Tuesday.
IC is currently projecting that it will welcome 370 new 缅北禁地, about 50 transfers and 320 first-years, according to Stephanie Chipman, VP of external relations at IC. Last year, IC got 335 new 缅北禁地. This year will have IC鈥檚 largest first-year class if the projections are maintained. This will also be one of, if not the, largest total student body that IC has ever had. Current projections are for 1,040 缅北禁地 which would top the past highs of 1,030 in 2003 and 2004.
Chipman said that IC expects more honors 缅北禁地 and more 缅北禁地 from Chicago and St. Louis. More 缅北禁地 who were supported with Jacksonville鈥檚 Promise Scholarship are also expected to enroll than in prior years.
