She uses an array of techniques to investigate the function and evolution of craniofacial anatomy in dinosaurs and their extant relatives. Ashley earned a Master of Science degree in biology from Western Illinois University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in ecology and evolutionary biology from Ohio University.
